Instagram and WhatsApp owner rejects call for company to be split up https://t.co/7HyQPRMiXx— Patrick LaForge (@palafo) May 9, 2019
I heard Chris Hughes interviewed on NPR this morning about his editorial. I only pause to note this response from Facebook, at least in tweet form, sounds a lot like Donald Trump's arguments against his impeachment.
In the “old days” if you were President and you had a good economy, you were basically immune from criticism. Remember, “It’s the economy stupid.” Today I have, as President, perhaps the greatest economy in history...and to the Mainstream Media, it means NOTHING. But it will!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 23, 2019
I mean, you don't hold a President accountable when the economy is in such good shape and the President has been so successful.
Companies are going to be a long time figuring out just how much Trump has poisoned the corporate PR book.
