Frontline ran a story last night about “Putin’s War.” It ended on an appropriately apocalyptic note, about the doom Putin’s mighty army would bring to the rest of Ukraine as it had already done to Crimea. All to say time has already passed that documentary by; and nobody saw this coming. These RU loss charts of equipment & personnel are questionable, but if they are even close to reality they are significant.

In 2007-9, I commanded the @1stArmoredDiv, 1 of 5 “heavy” divisions (10 total active divisions) in our Army.
Here’s how those losses would compare 1/8 https://t.co/GGmi3InNwr
Add UKR’ military equipment & personnel loss in their Army & territorial forces & the tragic death of 1000s of civilians due to RU’s scorched earth approach. The toll is devastating.

It’s on Putin. He is destroying his own military while causing horrific suffering in UKR. 6/
The sanctions are working. Issuing useless sanctions against Biden and others is one sign of that. Another was Russia’s demand for reparations due to the sanctions. And speaking of the news catching up with you:Any continuation of this campaign by Putin will only result in more loss and continues suffering…on both sides.

RU Army in UKR will go from being defeated to destroyed. Putin is a military & strategic moron who should be held accountable for war crimes. 8/8
To me, “RU considering their resupply and manning options” translates to “RU has no idea how they will sustained a stalled fight.” This = culmination of the offense. https://t.co/AqUCdlHWEJ

The handwriting on the wall is so clear even Trump can read it:A senior U.S. defense official says 20 days into the invasion, Russia had made little to no progress in the last 24 horus and forces still about 15-20 km outside of Kyiv city center.

This is going to change everything we accepted as immutable and inevitable. The best way to understand it is that normal is returning. Unfortunately for us, we had to make it return on the backs of Russians and Ukrainians, and calamity for both countries.Trump backpedaled on his previous support of Vladimir Putin: “I think he’s changed. I think he’s changed. It’s a very sad thing for the world. He’s very much changed.” https://t.co/QTX4uFf908
