Did MTG "help" McCarthy win? How? He was always going to win; the only question was, how long would it take? She’s “in” only because her party is the majority. Does she bring any skills to the table? Any legislative skills? Anything except notoriety? Any clout from that? At all?

So, yeah, she’s a power player now.

Notoriety is a big thing in Hollywood and social media. I’m not sure it really translates in the Congress. Ted Cruz is notorious, but Ted Cruz has zero clout in the Senate.

I don’t know. I’ll wait and see what happens.
