I could have sworn this was about school lunches:
Controlling time for Republicans in a floor debate on a bill called the Whole Milk For Healthy Kids Act, Foxx pontificated for several minutes about the nutritional value of whole milk and its benefits for Santa in his work delivering presents because, "hoisting heavy sacks of gifts up and down the chimney is no easy task."
"It's not just the magic of the season that helps Santa deliver presents world wide, it's also the fortifying nutrients of whole milk."
Foxx then inexplicably mentioned Barack Obama's race when arguing that it was under his administration that health standards for milk had been changed for public schools. But somehow also that allowing whole milk in school is about inclusion.
"But it was under our first African American President in this country that this was designed this way, and the First Lady pushed through these rules and regulations to exclude whole milk."
Foxx then countered pesky things like science and data on the health value of lower fat content milk for kids with her powerful closing argument, where she reminded everyone on the floor that experts built the Titanic, but amateurs built Noah's Arc [sic]. Take that science.Congress inaction. Last time I checked, Santa makes home deliveries only. Maybe he'll bring all the Republicans gas stoves while he's at it.
