Yell Loudly And Break Things

Tout le Twitter is full of experts who know the entire country hates Biden and loves MAGA, especially the House. But the people who make their living gauging public sentiment…:
According to public relations expert Richard Laermer, "[House Republicans] will continue to fight. And it will hurt them in the election with voters who are starting to tire of a do-nothing majority in the House. Optics is the word. Because they're all bad for the GOP contingency when it comes to Hunter. GOP plans for him are falling apart, PR-wise."
Communications consultant James Haggerty praised Hunter Biden for his appearance before the press in front of the U.S. Capitol where he called out the GOP House leadership for not letting him be deposed in public view, with Haggerty calling it "a bold change in strategy" adding the the president's son went, "... from dodging and weaving to a full-throated challenge to Congressional Republicans to fight things out in public."
Haggerty continued by stating, "Advantage Biden."
Laermer chipped in, "[House Republicans] wasted a lot of valuable media time discussing 'the contents' rather than getting Hunter in then. It did not seem to be a cohesive strategy. The laptop became a national joke! How could a punchline possibly help the GOP when they're trying so hard to embarrass the president?"
Calling both investigations a "PR nightmare" for Republicans, Laermer elaborated, "Our country is a mess. The world is watching our every move, and House Republicans are executing on nothing but going after Biden and his son. I get 'the Trump trials are a witch hunt' line being bandied about by the GOP. Yet the populace—and in particular the voters—can tell apples from oranges."
I know MAGA is on Twitter, as well as the hand-wringers and experts who know what Biden needs to do RIGHT NOW!, but if people aren’t thrilled with what is, in fact, a rosy economic picture, and they blame Biden, are they conversely thrilled with MAGA? (And gas prices are down , below $3.00 a gallon for premium near me; and the mall a few blocks away looks a lot like Christmases past.) I dunno; maybe the gloomy picture is a narrative of people who think they have their fingers on the national pulse?

And the people who make their living at this aren’t 100% right, but they have a point? Certainly they are more credible than the armchair Twitter experts and the journalists who leave the BosWash to journey into the hinterland and talk to old people at diners. Speaking of which:
The more things change…
