As a public service in this momentous time, we will be removing the paywall for our coverage of Harvard president Claudine Gay and her academic papers from the 1990s.

Bill Ackman does not make one hopeful that Harvard grads can avoid becoming megalomaniacal narcissists https://t.co/ToA7dHhfRs

If my wife was chummy with Jeffrey Epstein, I’d probably stay away from defending Dersh

I’m pretty sure citing Dilbert disqualifies you from any further participation in the conversation. This is the direction of Harvard unless DEI is eliminated pic.twitter.com/JwU0UFHE0S

I didn’t realize the tenure of the President of Harvard depended on the support of WaPo. Then again, didn’t this guy disqualify himself?Claudine Gay has lost the Washington Post.

This is the signal that it's over. pic.twitter.com/iunes6RLth
This is probably because Alan Dershowitz is a terrible writer, far below the standards of any serious college newspaper.

Did he get some help, and resubmit?
Do we get to vote on who the President of Harvard is?I’m more concerned about the fact the New York post buried this story because of an empty threat of litigation

Seems like a free press requires some stones
I’m old enough to remember “Letters to the Editor.” Am I the only one left?@BillAckman, @thecrimson doesn’t even let readers freely comment on its articles. Its staff selectively moderates comments in advance, and sometimes simply kills comments altogether. That’s how important stories at Harvard get buried (and stay buried) in the first place.

Harvard is an embarrassment to what it claims to stand for
— Joshua Robinson (@JRobFreedom) December 23, 2023
(No, I don’t follow that one, either.)Just a thought: is it really in Harvard's best interests to produce alumni who go on to become more powerful than the institution themselves?
— Laurie (@laurieinri) December 23, 2023
Is that why they've embraced DEI?
Harvard is officially done. It doesn’t even matter if they do fire her now, the damage to the Harvard name/brand cannot be undone at this point.

Harvard is done.

Don't hire people from this school any longer
Twitter has spoken. Harvard had a good run, but it’s all over. The Crimson was their doom.Who would hire a graduate of a college that has clearly abandoned meritocracy?
— Scott (@AmericaUchoose) December 23, 2023
Twitter will show the way.Citizen journalism will rise to fill the gap.
— Laurie (@laurieinri) December 23, 2023
I heard a story about someone who worked in DEI getting fired for saying “merry Christmas” at his university’s mandatory rally for Palestinians and now I’m going to have to vote for Trump again

The academy has lost its way—we must return to the era when we pursued truth, regardless of politics. We simply cannot ignore the views of a substantial proportion of the population, no matter where they may lead. As the Jeffrey Epstein Chair for Phrenological Studies,
