The Reaction To Pardoning 1600 Criminals

...is pretty feeble.
Speaking with reporters, Tillis said he's worried that Trump's pardons could set a precedent that "police officers could potentially be assaulted and there's no consequences."
Tillis also questioned whether the violent felons released by Trump still posed a threat to lawmakers.
"I think that it it raises... a legitimate safety question here on Capitol Hill," he said.
Tillis went on to question Biden’s pardons, but that’s also pretty weenie in context.

Trump is going to be a lame duck by the end of the week. Small mercies is sometimes all we get.
