It’s déjà vu all over again, circa the 1960’s. Protests = violence, except the violence came from law enforcement, then and now. Dogs, water cannons, and clubs for civil rights marchers; a police riot in Chicago, 1968; students killed at Kent State by National Guardsman sent to quell an anti-war protest.

Minneapolis officials yesterday pointed out there had been two shootings in the city this year. One was an ICE agent shooting Rachel Good.

And Emmer complains Walz thinks “he can call the National Guard up.” That’s literally allowed under Federal law.
