Blanche on the release of Liam Ramos: To the extent that we need to appeal that judge's decision, I promise we will. pic.twitter.com/EDgGtgvaON

Does this mean DOJ is going to appeal to get Liam back?Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning.

Liam is now home. With his hat and his backpack.

Or, you know, subject to Congressional oversight, approval, and funding. Does this mean he’s going to seek that? Or just send in the bulldozers?Trump: I have determined that the fastest way to bring The Trump Kennedy Center to the highest level of Success, Beauty, and Grandeur, is to cease Entertainment Operations for an approximately two year period of time…

Will it be 2027 before Congress pays attention? Signs point to: “Oh, sure."So I guess we are supposed to believe that Trump isn’t shutting down the Kennedy Center because pretty much every show and performer canceled on them and the facility would’ve been completely empty for the remainder of his term.

VERY important people, okay?Trump on Epstein Files: I was told by some very important people that not only does it absolve me, it's the opposite of what people were hoping, you know, the radical left. pic.twitter.com/cCYEIg4nmO

Well that's certainly reassuring.Reporter: On Iran, the supreme leader today said attacks would spark a regional war.

Boldly reclaiming the title of “Stupidest Person in Congress.”Ron Johnson: "These are activists that are trained, that are encouraged to put themselves into harm's way, and because they put themselves in harm's way we had two tragic deaths in Minneapolis. There's not much nuance there." pic.twitter.com/fAGJY0iYUS

I’m sure that sounded better in her head. At least I hope so. Although that’s really hard to imagine. Then again, Paul knew all about it:Gaines: I believe that words like compassion, empathy, inclusion, and love have been weaponized against us. pic.twitter.com/jG0CR7YZy3

No, ‘if your enemies are hungry, feed them; if they are thirsty, give them something to drink; for by doing this you will heap burning coals on their heads.’
Whiney Gaines is too stupid to not say that kind of stuff. Blanche isn't stupid, he's just dirty and evil and without any morals. I especially loathe him and pray I live long enough to see him sentenced to prison for something. Bondi too, though like Gaines she's a lot stupider than anyone who should have a law license should be. I still want to see her behind bars, too.
ReplyDeleteGaines is just saying what is popular among some Evangelicals. There are popular Christian books "Toxic Empathy" and "Leadership and the Sin of Empathy" that also attack tolerance, compassion and more. Basically they think the whole Sermon on the Mount is too woke and weak. The author of Toxic Empathy got hundreds of thousands of hits for her defense of the agents that shot Alex Pretti. Gains is telling his base what they want to hear.
ReplyDeleteI’d like to say that’s at least new and different, but alas…
DeleteThere’s an ancient tradition of Christ as warrior (long before “Onward, Christian Soldiers.”). But it was a Christ Vikings could identify with. In “The Dream of the Rood” Christ practically nails himself to the rood (cross). But it’s a Christ making a noble sacrifice (and frankly prefigured in some ways by John’s version of the crucifixion), not a Christ acting selfishly. There’s certainly a history of Xians selfishly claiming God is on their side (exclusively), but claiming God(Christ) never said that/didn’t mean it, is another step altogether. We often refuse to wrestle with God, and insist God must wrestle with us.
