The best word on Tom DeLay I have heard yet, just came from P.J. O'Rourke on "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me."
When it was mentioned that DeLay was hoping to hold on to his position as Majority Leader by delaying the return of the House from the Christmas recess until February, O'Rourke said:
"You know, and I say this as a good, God-fearing Republican, but DeLay might as well pin a coatrack to his head and a powder puff to his butt and run through the woods during deer season."
Yup.
