"Plausibly” is doing a lot of heavy lifting in Crenshaw’s tweet. The only “chaos” came from Republican state legislatures refusing to let their states pre-canvas the massive number of early/mail-in ballots and from Republican politicians repeatedly spreading baseless claims of widespread fraud without *any* evidence that ever held up in court. pic.twitter.com/lyxG1ZU1qa

The first step in correcting American elections, the Voting Rights Act, was gutted by the Supreme Court. The only way to make them honest is to get rid of anything that ends up without the clear choice of a majority of voters winning the election. The Electoral College is the worst of it, the gerrymander is probably the second worst of it. Trump tried to gerrymander the entire country through a corrupted census.
