OJ ruined his legacy. Guiliani is making us wonder why we ever honored him.
Telling your kids that Rudy Giuliani was once respected is like explaining that O.J. Simpson was once a football player.— Stephen Colbert (@StephenAtHome) November 26, 2020
A super dangerous concept that will never get to court. Or a legislature, since that wasn’t a hearing. Nor can you take the election away from the people without consequence. (Although which is more dangerous: that the state government gave power to voters, or that voters gave power to the state government?)
I understand this one and it's a super dangerous concept. It is that the state legislature has such plenary power over picking presidential electors it can act--without the governor at a 3-star hotel--even after it gave power to voters and voters exercised it. https://t.co/jzBP5Y6pfZ— Rick Hasen (@rickhasen) November 26, 2020
