There was a British sitcom (some time ago now, I realize), “Outnumbered,” about a family with young children. One episode, at a gift shop, the father tries to get Ben (his young son) to leave. Ben refuses to the point the father picks him up and carries him out, with Ben shouting: “My name’s not Ben! Stranger danger!” The people in the shop just look perplexed. Never thought I’d see it in real life.
