I mean, yeah, but, how do we distinguish them from people making arguments like this?Donald J. Trump and his brainless sycophants, enablers and minions around him built a huge cult of ultra right people drawn to authoritarians who cannot accept facts or admit they're wrong. Any change in reality/action is very psyche-threatening to their false engrained beliefs.

"We found that two factors, and really only two factors, best predicted where civil war was likely to break out," Walter said. "The first was what we called anocracy, that's a fancy term for partial democracy, and the second factor was whether a country's population began to break down into racial, ethnic or religious political parties."
Father Coughlin. The Dixiecrats. George Wallace's third party. Ross Perot's third party. The Black Panthers. The Nation of Islam. The Moral Majority (less scary than the previous two; all white people.) The "partial democracy" that prevailed over women, non-white males, non-whites period, males under 18 who didn't own property, males over 18 who didn't own property. I could go on. I'm old enough to have grown up learning to talk about people in the Northeast as "Yankees." It was not really a term of endearment. I'm also old enough to remember "Freeze a Yankee In the Dark" during the '70's energy crisis. I have a mug from the late '70's, "Native Texan." It was meant to distinguish us from carpetbaggers. Arguably our nation actually became one nation on December 7, 1941. How long did that last? Until the Civil Rights movement began in the ‘50’s? And what “one nation” with a “complete democracy” were we before that?
Racial, ethnic, religious political parties? What else has America ever had? Whose false, engrained beliefs are more threatened right now?
In other words, fewer people than there are students in Houston ISD. Wow. And while we're on that subject:Who’s gonna tell her?#LaurenBoebertIsSoDumb https://t.co/baW5Tp08AO

The American people deserve an honest government, not a bunch of gaslighters.
