It’s like locusts, except every four years instead of seven.
Only the names change, but the sentiment is always the same.
And why is it always “we”? Delusions to royalty? A pet mouse in the pocket? This pretension that the American public, who hardly agree on anything, agree with the speaker, is really quite tiresome. And bordering on megalomania.
Oh, well, we’ll always have Paris. And locusts.
