This family has now become famous (Gym Jordan used them in an effort to deflect questions about why this election wasn’t “rigged.” He said it like we all knew what he meant.), so I’ll use them to talk (briefly) about “mass deportations.”

Deportation, even of undocumented immigrants, requires a court hearing.

Which means “mass deportations” are not possible. Forget the problem of logistics, detention centers/facilities, or personnel needed to arrest and detain all the immigrants imagined to be undocumented.

There aren’t enough immigration judges. And you can’t bypass them without suspending the Constitution (5th and 14th amendments, if you’re wondering). Even if Trump tried it, the courts wouldn’t allow it. And there wouldn’t be enough Robert Borks or Jeffrey Clarks to carry it out even if Trump told them to.

As for the family in Arizona:

A) A man hears what he wants to hear, and disregards the rest.

Which leads directly to:

B) Why can’t other people think just like us?

I’ve no use for criticism of them . That’s “SOMEBODY ON THE INTERNET IS WRONG!” level thinking. Or not thinking, more accurately. Let it go. Seek solutions that don’t involve finding some one to blame. Just for starters.
