The Bubble is one place and they all end up thinking alike, as that dear departed soul Molly Ivins said of DC, as I recall. It never ceases to amaze me, even as it no longer shocks me, how parochial and insular the denizens of those great cities can be. I suspect they are as isolated and unaware of entire sections and neighborhoods of the cities they live in. How Woody Allen could make movies in NYC which were as lily white as most casting in the 1940s was.
