Conspiracy theories breed in ignorance, and lack of access to valid information. I don’t trust Trump’s reports on his condition (I wouldn’t trust Trump if he said it was raining outside), and I have no reason to trust reports in his condition. But to distrust them is to enter into conspiracy theories. Yes, the White House has reasons to lie, but if you reject the lies, do you know the truth?“It was unclear when Mr. Trump last had a fever or whether his symptoms were resolved or merely better than they were before.” https://t.co/QG9HPPe0RM

This is the problem with lies, especially when they come from government. It’s not just the “credibility gap” of the ‘60’s, it’s the complete inability to know. Or to know that what you know is worth knowing.
