Texas GOP is pretty well determined to slit its own throat. They've gone after Abbott relentlessly on his efforts to control the spread of the coronavirus, and fought futilely to hold their convention "live" in Houston.

None of this shocks those of us in Texas who have been paying attention.  As I said, the clowns who tried to stop Harris County turning blue in 2018 are now running the state GOP in 2020.
