NEW: Former Attorney General Bill Bar on Friday distanced himself from reports that the Trump DOJ seized communications records belonging to two prominent Dem lawmakers. In a phone interview with me, Barr said he didn’t recall getting briefed on the moves. https://t.co/8CmIZNmU6m

Really?I wonder what Rod Rosenstein has to say for himself.

“Former Attorney General Jeff Sessions is telling associates that he had no idea his Justice Department seized phone records of two top Democratic Congressional critics of” Trump.

So your defense, both of you, is that you were too dumb to know what your people were doing with regards to members of Congress? You'd rather be grossly incompetent than culpable? And you think "Hell, nobody told me!" is a defense? I mean, even this guy knows there are limits:And now Microsoft too:

New: Microsoft received a subpoena in 2017 related to a congressional staffer's personal email account, the company said Friday evening. As with Apple, Microsoft was subject to a gag order that was in effect for more than two years.
Do you really think this excuse (it's hardly a defense) makes it better, when more and more stories like these are going to come pouring out?I just want to say I think it's really far-fetched to speculate that all the same forces who conspired to contrive two fake impeachment hoaxes and a rape hoax, also tried to sinisterly navigate a pandemic in an election year to cost even more lives and liberties.

They really don't catch the smart ones, do they?New: DOJ under Trump demanded metadata on 73 phone numbers and 36 email addresses from Apple, the company said tonight. The Dept sent a broad request in February 2018 as part of its investigation that collected data on members of Congress, staffers and their families.

I want all of the Trump era AGs, acting as well as confirmed, to be hauled in front of House committees and not allowed to feign lapses of memory, I want the judges who signed off on those subpoenas have to answer for what they did and I want all of the records needed to question them subpoenaed by the Congress and if the present DoJ balks, to have the Congress enforce their subpoenas without the bull shit delays of the judicial branch delaying it. I want the Congress to assert themselves since the Judicial branch was thick as thieves with the Trump regime.
