Can we please ban people from saying things I don't want them to say? Re: Me v. The World and Common Sense v. Morons.

    If this continues there is going to be no choice but to shut down the liars or if an even more seriously dangerous virus of this or another type arises. The meat industry around the world is generating those at an increasing rate - I used to susped that would come from mass factory farming but it would seem that isn't the only source. There's a rather worrisome one that was first noticed in Malaysia but now seems to be becoming an even more serious problem in India. If it makes the jump to human to human transmission, especially through the air, it could make Covid-19 look like the prelude to our extinction.

    I think the reign of lies has reached one of those non-transgressible limits that Brueggemann talks about. The problems of trying to prevent mass media and SD media lies is being overtaken by the bigger problems of allowing them to flourish and be used and directed by gangsters with huge fortunes and willing hacks.

    And that's only the public health problem with them, there is also the fact that they are targeting democracy and, even more so, equality as well.
