According to the CDC in 2025, the recommended vaccines for children totaled 12, with only 1 requiring five doses (spread out over 4-6 years), and 3 requiring 4 doses. 5 are recommended at two months, and a second dose at four months, a third at 6 months, and of those five, two have a fourth dose recommended at 12-18 months.Trump sounds like a total freak talking about "beautiful, healthy, lovely, delicate little children" pic.twitter.com/lFlh8Nkp4S

So his order strikes one recommended vaccine? The RSV vaccine on the schedule is recommended only on the mother’s vaccine status or, after 6 months, the child’s health status. The COVID vaccine is listed, but not recommended below the age of six. I’m at a loss to determine what this EO changes.Trump: "Effective immediately, my administration is recognizing gold standard childhood vaccine recommendations for only 11 core vaccinations against the most serious and dangerous diseases along with the MMR, which hopefully will be split up." pic.twitter.com/nXo8Ab7BpD

5 doses are recommended, at ages 12-15 months. So there is plenty of space to spare. Again, Trump has no idea what his government is doing.Trump: "At one year, you should have 5 separate visits for vaccines rather than getting them all in the same day. I've seen proof of where they have a vaccination thing that looks like the size of a bottle of soda and pour it into a little child's body." pic.twitter.com/vJhrpRFLvE

Covid vaccine, as of 2025, was not recommended. The other two are, but what Trump is saying reduces the number of vaccines recommended to 9, not 11.Trump: "Very importantly, vaccinations for hepatitis B, covid-19, and influenza, among others, are no longer recommended for all children" pic.twitter.com/ybv8CPZZSU

Ah, those halcyon days before the hepatitis vaccines, or chickenpox, or even polio (Trump was 9 when the Sabin vaccine was announced). Yes, dem was de days.Trump: "Decades ago, children received only a small fraction of the vaccines required today. In those times, people were much healthier and of course the high rates of autism now observed did not exist. There's a reason for such epidemic rates of autism." pic.twitter.com/uMaQ8bJByU

Of all the things that never happened, these things never happened the most.Q: You're a proud father. Would you have vaccinated your children differently based on these recommendations?
— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) August 10, 2026
TRUMP: Well I did. I took my children for five different vaccinations. In other words, I broke it up. The one visit where they just pump what seemingly just looks like… pic.twitter.com/LsNWZBIChG
A guy who sniffs cocaine off toilet seats is not a paragon of logic or science. We have diagnostic criteria for autism that we didn’t have a few decades ago. It’s the same reason we no longer call arthritis “lumbago,” or TB “consumption.” Or think an autoimmune disease like arthritis, is affected by wearing a copper bracelet.RFK Jr on autism: "'Oh, we're just noticing it more.' But this is an absurdity ... if we were just noticing it more, we would notice it in older groups. But we're not ... so something happened in the mid '90s that changed our children" pic.twitter.com/div4KK4Ebi

This is the guy who wanted “herd immunity” to protect us from Covid. The weak must die so the strong will live.NIH Director Jay Bhattacharya: "We shouldn't be keeping kids out of schools because their parents have made different decisions than other parents"

"I just know what I’m told by the people I hired.”Q: I think I heard you say the MMR vaccine is 'quite lethal.' Is there any evidence of that?
— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) August 10, 2026
TRUMP: No. What I've heard is there's some people who say it is that way. pic.twitter.com/uKEiUW4NOM

This will be a surprise to the rest of the world. And the Navy.Q: When do you think the Strait of Hormuz will be open?
— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) August 10, 2026
TRUMP: It's open now. It's open now. The only one that has control of the Strait of Hormuz right now is the US Navy. pic.twitter.com/tAhn73AbQw
Trump is not talking to his staff, and they aren’t talking to him.Q: Have you been calling Chairman Warsh occasionally?
— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) August 10, 2026
TRUMP: No. The Wall Street Journal had a wrong story. I've only spoken to him one time briefly a few days ago
