PER THE CONSTITUTION:— Eric Bolling🇺🇸 (@ericbolling) December 23, 2019
The time for “discovery” passed.
The Senate now tries the case as they wish.
Senate democrats and main stream media knows this but wants to change the rules, same rules D’s demanded upheld at house hearings. Let’s let @realDonaldTrump get back to business🇺🇸
Discovery is a process of civil procedure governed by the rules of civil procedure and the rules of evidence. The Constitution has nothing whatsoever to do with it, nor has it anything to do with impeachment.
Wouldn’t it be reasonable to assume that Republicans in the Senate should handle the Impeachment Hoax in the exact same manner as Democrats in the House handled their recent partisan scam? Why would it be different for Republicans than it was for the Radical Left Democrats?— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 23, 2019
I don't know what this means, and neither does he.
Stop playing games with the Constitution.— Lindsey Graham (@LindseyGrahamSC) December 23, 2019
In our system, you can’t be the Speaker of the House and the Senate Majority Leader at the same time.
The Senate will decide how we dispose of this sham created by the House.
The Senate is in recess until 2020. What are the Constitutional implications of that, Senator?
If this continues into 2020, the Senate needs to strike back, standing up for our rights and ending this debacle.— Lindsey Graham (@LindseyGrahamSC) December 23, 2019
Like I just said. (although I understand negotiations are on-going for what rules to set for the trial, so maybe you're pissed Pelosi is better at this than your Majority Leader?)
If she refuses, Senate Republicans should take matters into our own hands. We are in charge of the Senate — not Pelosi or Schumer.— Lindsey Graham (@LindseyGrahamSC) December 23, 2019
Speaker Pelosi’s actions are an affront to the Constitution, the Senate, and denies President @realDonaldTrump his day in court.
You can't do anything about it, and you know it. She's third in line to the Presidency; not anybody in the Senate. That is a more powerful position. Deal with it.
It’s time for @SpeakerPelosi, who claimed impeachment was a national imperative, to fish or cut bait.— Lindsey Graham (@LindseyGrahamSC) December 23, 2019
Commit to sending the Articles of Impeachment to the Senate consistent with Constitutional obligations. https://t.co/QpSptWm34F
You mean this constitutional obligation? "The House of Representatives shall chuse their Speaker and other Officers; and shall have the sole Power of Impeachment."
What the Democrats are doing is “Obstruction of the Senate. It’s wrong Constitutionally, it’s wrong morally, and it’s wrong politically.” @AlanDersh @seanhannity @dbongino l agree, and so does the public!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 24, 2019
You are impeached when the House says so; and there is no such thing as "Obstruction of Senate." Your law professors are inventing things again.
“The real victims here are the American people and the Constitution. The Constitution has been damaged by this ploy being used by Nancy Pelosi. This is a very bad time for the United States Constitution.” @AlanDersh— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 24, 2019
What's that definition of chutzpah? Killing your parents and then asking for mercy because you're an orphan? Yeah, that fits here.
