I do love these stories where the war is lost before the first shot can be fired. I'm old enough to remember when there weren't primaries to pick Presidential candidates. I don't remember the winning argument for primaries being: "Let Iowa caucus and then we'll all just accept those results or we'll never win!" Hillary Clinton got 48% of the vote, to Trump's 46%. The problem in 2020 will be the problem of 2016: turnout.
