No, You Don’t

I have that right. You just memorialize it.

Just as I have the “inalienable right” to liberty. No one ever died to give it to me , and I don’t have it because someone is supposedly willing to die for “freedom.” By definition, my right to freedom can’t be given to me, and it can’t be taken from me.

We are much closer to fascism than Donald Trump has ever driven us. And we got there long before he started telling people “You’re fired!”

  1. I am convinced that democracy is intrinsically tied to a belief in God as the creator who gave people rights, something that is the start of things in Exodus, even before God appears in the book. I don't think it has any other secure basis in human societies.
