"Big, Strong Doctors, With Tears In Their Eyes...."

"saying 'Thank you, sir, for fighting against the Covid propaganda wars!' "

In case you're wondering, as I am, what RSV is, symptoms are similar to those of a cold.  It mostly infects infants and young children (under the age of 5) and in most cases goes away on its own.  It is a threat primarily to premature infants, infants under 6 months of age, and children under 2 with chronic lung disease or congenital heart disease. "One to two out of every 100 children younger than 6 months of age with RSV infection may need to be hospitalized."

So unless Florida pediatric ICU's are being flooded with 6 month old babies, Gov. DeSantis is so full of shit his eyes are brown.

I think he wants to be at war with reality.

Texas is grateful we at least don't look as bad as Florida. With so many clownshows in America at the moment, there's always one more appalling than yours. Unless you're Florida, I guess.

  1. yup when I worked in the Minnesota State Health Dept virology lab, we tested for RSV all the time, pretty fatal to premies and newborns. When ever a sample came in we knew a baby had probably died and our job was to confirm what it died of. Very sad business,
