But … but…the polls! The approval ratings!!Jessica: The fundraising numbers came out today. Biden took in 97 million in Q4. 117 million on hand. His team is outpacing what the Obama campaign had done in 2011… 97% are grassroots donations. pic.twitter.com/63mMMJuBbI

Carson: You think about the bible. King David. Most people , if they were alive back in those days would have said what a horrible guy.

Cavuto: You’re comparing him to King David?
Carson: I— I— pic.twitter.com/WQKQWF6XPJ
And then day turned into night:Sen Lee compared him to Capt Moroni in Mormon scripture.

Tonight is not about Trump winning. It's about a slice of Americans accepting disinformation and endorsing a demagogue who threatens American democracy. https://t.co/Qrl1xPH73r
Trumpism is the politics of subtraction: 56k fewer Republican caucus voters tonight in Iowa vs 2016. Trump wins by depressing and shrinking the electorate. Attacks fellow republicans and wonders why he loses in general elections.

I thought Trump was going to win by 60 points. So here is why I think Trump is weaker than most think. Its Iowa. He has taken total control of the party. He is unstoppable and everyone there knows he will be nominee. But 49% went with someone else. DeSantis is dead but still circling the drain. This is the worst out…

I guess now they pwn the liberal pollsters?Trump said yesterday he was polling at 71% in Iowa and Trump is never wrong so anything less than that is clearly fraud.

Maddow: This means of people turning out to caucus in Iowa, a third of them think that if Donald Trump is convicted he is not fit to be president. In this incredibly conservative electorate, They’re going to nominate him nationwide? I'm sorry, but he's going to be convicted. pic.twitter.com/a89ghyuY8F

“We also asked folks do you think Joe Biden legitimately won the 2020 election… 68%, more than two-thirds of those in these early entrance poll results showing up early to the caucus sites say no” pic.twitter.com/dYCReiFMBF

GOP Border Politics: Getting Along With Our NeighborsThat's a really high number! But also losing anything close to 37 percent of his support would be an absolute disaster for Trump. pic.twitter.com/7Q56Q1UGeg

AP has a policy not to call "the winner of a race before all the polls in a jurisdiction are scheduled to close." Tonight AP/CNN/Etc. called the race after the caucus doors closed, but BEFORE all votes were cast. People could see on their phones that Trump won before voting.
