It’s a CBS series that seems to have run for 2 seasons, about the Catholic Church and demons ( of course). Context is all, I guess. But the speech is, you must admit, a negative clank, a sort of adolescent whine to the universe. By the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, one of the most elevated positions in America. To a bunch of very young teenagers.
Maybe it’s just a weird coincidence that it sounds like a demon’s advice to a child character in a largely overlooked TV drama.
