42 million jobless, 100,000+ dead, and POTUS is congratulating himself from the dog crate he built around the White House to protect himself from free speech https://t.co/gwmAJmFwV6— Laura Bassett (@LEBassett) June 5, 2020
Wait for it....!
The unemployment rate DECREASED to 13.3%.— Daniel Strauss (@DanielStrauss4) June 5, 2020
Sounds like a lot of the action was part time workers going back to work.
“the number of persons who usually work full time increased by 2.2 million to 116.5 million, and the number who usually work part time rose by 1.6 million” pic.twitter.com/zhXs2gkDjG
This is good.— Mattie Duppler (@MDuppler) June 5, 2020
However, workers on “permanent lay-off” increased to 2.3M. Keep an eye on this number. https://t.co/MLDFbXXyoW
It's still a roomful of horseshit, and I don't think you're going to find a pony in there. Besides, people are going back to their jobs after a pandemic closed the economy, and yet in many parts of the country outside NYC, coronavirus cases are on the increase. Coincidence? I think not. How many of those people, especially the part-timers, are going to be unemployed again in a few weeks?
I will be doing a News Conference at 10:00 A.M. on the Jobs Numbers! White House.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 5, 2020
And 13.3% unemployment is a good thing? Where?
Now that we’re bouncing back the question is do you bounce *all the way back* or do you stall out with a 90% recovery which is actually still pretty bad.

My forecast: Only time will tell.
