That just sets the stage:There's a particularly distinct mediocrity to America's brand of far right authoritarianism. https://t.co/CghMbILmvV

The Trump speech at the Lil Facists Conference is absolute pure, weapons-grade horseshit in a slurry mendacious nonsense.

And millions of Americans are shoveling it down like ice cream on a hot day.
"Millions of Americans" is, frankly, Trumpian exaggeration. Even at that, "millions" could mean a city the size of Houston. Houston has yet to swing an election in Texas, much less in the country. I'm back to Maggie Haberman's observations on the runoff election in Georgia. I mean, "millions" are down with this?

Well, that makes it make more sense. Right?Trump speaking of “routers” here is a reference to a MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell conspiracy theory which alleges the “routers” of Dominion voting machines were connected to the Internet on election night and thus now need to be examined. https://t.co/rOKKxuUHsK

The vast majority of the electorate who would treat the GOP as a rabid dog and Trump as the lunatic he is? The down ballot devastation would be particularly brutal. Here is a thought experiment. There is no law that requires the Republican Party to hold primaries or caucuses. How many GOP State Parties would pass a resolution awarding all of their delegates to Trump in 2024 right now? Please tell me who would rise up and object to this ?

Oh, great. Now I'll have to have a favorite team, the Cleveland Guardians. I don't know if it's still true but there was a time Cleveland was known in library circles as a city that was entirely more supportive of its city library system than almost anywhere else. I don't suppose they'd have considered The Cleveland Librarians. That would do it for me.
