Forget the Tweet This Time:

Just pay attention to the sign: Because it's true. I'm quite sure that former police officer was very pissed off. Steven Hotze is rather infamous around Harris County. He sued the city to force the GOP Convention to be held in the Convention center at the height of covid (he lost). He was also the guy behind these mailers, a few years earlier than the convention lawsuit:
He was trying to get GOP judges elected in Harris County. The entire slate of Democratic candidates, all black women, won instead. Hotze is our man on their side. And to put this in further perspective: Steven Hotze wants one of these laws in Texas. I guarantee he does. Such lawsuits won't ever get to trial, because proving someone is teaching "CRT" is so vague and subject to challenge it can never be established as a matter of law, except as you establish anything that is not white supremacy is "divisive." But at that point you run into the legal doctrine that racism is a pernicious category in the law. The courts cannot act to uphold it. So the cause of action dies. But not without spending a whole lot of local taxpayers money defending a suit that could well be brought by somebody in another state, who doesn't even pay those taxes.

Or by Hotze, in a school district other than the one he lives in.
