FDR had over 12 years and he accomplished some of the New Deal, established Social Security, and finally saved the economy with WWII.
LBJ had five years and used Kennedy’s death to catapult the Civil Rights Act, Selma and MLK to pass the VRA, King’s stance on economic justice to pass Medicare (along with a growing awareness Grandma needed the new medical care becoming available). And a host of other ventures and virtues we now take for granted.
He also had solid majorities in both houses of Congress. And no Republican since Lincoln has ever matched the accomplishments of FDR or LBJ.
So stop trying to teach your grandmother how to suck eggs when you don’t know how.
