Something Dominion should probably keep in mind is that after Fox News settled with Seth Rich's family, Tucker Carlson resumed lying about Rich (albeit without explicitly mentioning his name). https://t.co/vlxZq9TLwv

We've sent too many reporters to Delaware for Fox to get wobbly now.

I was about to go live on @CBCNews when the judge in Dominion v. Fox delayed the start of the trial. The questions now: Is Fox serious about settling and will Dominion accept the deal? pic.twitter.com/B7BXqBFeIl

Just waiting for someone to start a $1.6 billion GoFundMe for Dominion, to keep it from settling the lawsuit.

The usual course of an 11th hour settlement is to go to court and announce it on the record, with a prepared order for the judge to sign finishing off the case. The only fact question left in this case is “actual malice.” Why would Dominion settle now for less than the damages it’s seeking? It could happen, it just seems highly unlikely. The delay is most likely the court’s business, not a sign of an as yet unknown agreement. As I reported for VF, Fox has already pursued settlement talks on multiple occasions. Dominion, knowing it has tremendous leverage, held firm. Many legal experts have wondered about the odds of a settlement hours before opening arguments... 🤷♂️ https://t.co/wTVSz1zb2p

Yeah, that’s not gonna happen, either. It’s pretty damn creepy that we’re just factoring in a Trump insurrection at this point if he loses in 2024.

I keep remembering how so many online were all "I hate you, I hate you, I hate you!" when Alvin Bragg took some time in the investigation of Trump and they were sure some kind of corrupt fix was in. I don't think the internet made us all impatient children with paranoid delusions, I think it just exposed something endemic to us as TV edukated dolts who expect everything to be wrapped up in the hour time frame of a crime show.
