I have yet to enter a bank with an "armed guard" more competent or reassuring than the ones in the movies who are usually either bullet fodder or doddering old men waiting for their pension.

According to my "Next Door" feed, the most common "bank robbery" now is to wait for someone to take cash out of an ATM (usually a LOT of cash.  I never took more than $60) and then they follow you home or to your next stop, where they break into the car because PEOPLE LEAVE THE MONEY IN THE CAR!!!!

I am not making this up.  I guess Ted's solution is to arm old people (who else takes large cash from a bank anymore?) so they can shoot the people who already have a gun on them?

In Ted's world everyone would have been armed and they'd all have shot each other. Unlike in the movies, where everybody shoots who they mean to shoot, so the camera can see it.

Especially with so many people noticing. I’m also pretty sure the more you move to the center, the more you’ll leave behind your supporters, without gaining anybody.
