Trump's act is about as fresh as Milton Berle's was c. 1960 or Jerry Lewis's, too. If he hadn't cashed in on the hate-speech shtick from the 70s, even his rump cult would have stopped watching. Hate speech and conceit are the evergreens of comedy that isn't funny, why someone like Bill Maher still has a show.
