The closest parallel would be “political prisoner.” Crucifixion was reserved for those who threatened the political power of Rome. Think the end of  “Spartacus,” and all the slaves crucified together.

So the comparison might be more apt if Trump is convicted in the DC case. Except Trump is going to jail for his sins.
