I understand that if I commit a crime in Illinois, and return to Texas, I can be extradited to Illinois. But what’s the legal theory that says I can be prosecuted in Texas for traveling to Nevada to gamble? Or just driving to Louisiana to go to the casinos that advertise in Houston?
