Mitch McConnell called Steve Vladeck “one of the Field Marshals of the Academic project to undermine the judiciary,” for comments the Professor made at a Federal Society meeting.

I wonder what the Senator thinks about Trump?

The thing is when Trump was challenged on releasing violent prisoners he didn’t even offer up a weak defense that they’re rehabilitated or anything, he just denied the reality of the crimes. That we all saw. 

No president has ever undermined the whole system of trial by jury as this one has. And for purely selfish reasons. 

In continuing to call them “hostages” the President of the United States is condemning the judgment of thousands of citizen jurors.

Someone he actually has the power to do something about.
