He has no idea of the federal laws he just made Musk subject to.

Everything that Trump said and did today -- all of it -- was entirely predictable based on his campaign, character, and first term in office. If you're surprised, you were either misinformed or not informed enough.

From what I heard, the people who voted for Trump didn’t care what he said on the campaign trail. They were just tired of the status quo.

That “emergency” on the border? Probably get balled up in courts for a couple of years. If Democrats get control of Congress in the midterms (not at all unlikely), expect the Congress to curtail his economic/military nonsense.

Especially if he’s crashed the economy and caused Mexico to close the border. He’ll lose Texas over that one. A truly closed border would wreck this state’s economy.

Not something I wish for, by the way.
