Per JMM’s description, the firms clearly knew the agreements were unenforceable. But how did they not know such unprecedented deals were being made with the devil? Or worse, an intemperate toddler with a shotgun? Far from protecting themselves from Trump, they’ve made their situation worse.
I’m beginning to think everyone involved in those discussions were prize idiots.
