So, Joe Biden is the opposite of an autocrat. And more popular than Trump was at this point, by 14 points.  In fact, Trump's approval rating now is where it was at this time four years ago.

And he lost the popular vote by 7 million. So manipulating "information to produce the news they need to stay in office," well....it didn't work.

Trump may be an autocrat.  But he's a terrible politician.  And autocrats don't do that well in the American system, despite the weaknesses of the system that give them access to power in the first place.

Apparently public welfare is of more than zero concern to the public.
