On The Taxpayer’s Dime

In case you, like Rep. Boebert, hadn't heard (what does her staff do all day?): Why do I think Boebert wasn't part of these discussions? And a timely reminder that the wages of covid are not "death or complete recovery." Somthing that is true of almost every infectious disease for which we find we need a vaccine. In conclusion, a couple of interesting headlines. "Eat the rich, help the rest of us" sounds like a pretty good political platform to me.

  1. Eat the rich would have won if the Supreme Court hadn't saved the corruption of money by big donors in the wake of the Watergate reforms. The Supreme Court is the source of almost all of the post 1976 corruption of our elections on the basis of "free speech" and our media after 1964 on the basis of "free press". Turns out the wages of "freedom" in its absolutist conception is corruption and, in the fullness of time, the overturning of democracy by gangsters.
