I wonder if there is a state in the country where such ideas are secretly held by large parts of the population along with them being the real home of "rugged individualism."
On my bad days and those for the country I'd love to get rid of federalism, then I'm reminded of things like what my state would have been like under the Trump regime if Janet Mills hadn't been governor during the first year of Covid-19. Then I think of what it would have been like if it had been Covid-17 when Paul LePage would have put us behind the Dakotas at their worst.
