There's a Peanuts strip where Violet is chasing Charlie Brown in great anger, threatening to slug him. Finally Charlie Brown turns and begins to reason with her. She listens, then she slugs him. “I had to hit him quick,” she explains to a friend. “He was beginning to make sense.”

The Republicans have to hit at Dr. Fauci and Biden’s call to get volunteers reaching out to the unvaccinated. Biden and Fauci are beginning to make sense. The GOP can’t allow that; not as long as Democrats are in charge.

Fortuanately, and unlike Violet, they can't hit Biden or Fauci hard enough to shut them up.  At best, as they displayed at C-PAC, they can stick their fingers in their ears.

Well, until, God forbid, they're on a respirator in a medical coma, trying to survive COVID.
