She needs to talk to Jim Jordan. He's taken it seriously enough to tell Alvin Bragg he needs to come to the House and explain himself. This is not--and we cannot emphasize this enough--how the judicial system works https://t.co/ZkR4sOc5SP

Jim Jordan waging ‘purely political attack’: Demands Bragg testify before Congress over expected Trump indictment https://t.co/hON1clzX3Z
— Raw Story (@RawStory) March 20, 2023
Jordan's letter, he writes to Bragg: "In light of the serious consequences of your actions, we expect that you will testify about what plainly appears to be a politically motivated prosecutorial decision," according to a Fox Corp. article. The website also says it was signed by two other Republicans: House Oversight Committee Chair Jim Comer and House Committee on Administration Chair Brian Steil. None have any oversight authority on the Office of the Manhattan District Attorney."Jordan warned Bragg that if news reports of a possible Trump indictment are accurate, Bragg’s actions 'will erode confidence in the evenhanded application of justice and unalterably interfere in the court of the 2024 presidential election,'" Fox adds."The legal theory underlying your reported prosecution appears to be tenuous and untested," Jordan wrote. He also attacked former Trump attorney Michael Cohen, who has testified extensively in the case before the grand jury.
None of that actually means anything, either.
No, ya don't.Was the Manhattan DA’s office in communication with DOJ about their investigation of President Trump?

Was the Manhattan DA’s office using federal funds to investigate President Trump?
Alvin Bragg owes our committee answers. pic.twitter.com/G6mL4Jfiiq
Bragg will probably tell Jordan to pound sand.Dear @Jim_Jordan: Local prosecutors, including DA Bragg, owe you nothing. In fact, it is illegal for you and @JudiciaryGOP to interfere in an ongoing criminal investigation, or a criminal trial (if there is one). https://t.co/1SOSHf4q7E

Speaking of meaningless words:
And what the hell is "Big Brother's Digital Dollar"? A new crypto backing DeSantis?Ron DeSantis is asked about a possible Trump indictment. He immediately blasts the Manhattan DA as a "Soros-funded prosecutor." But then he also says, "look, I don't know what goes into paying hush money to a porn star to secure silence over some type of alleged affair." pic.twitter.com/g63X2U3xlk

One does forget that Ford became President because Agnew had to leave office to face criminal charges, and Nixon appointed Ford. Don't tell me how Trump is a stress-test for democracy if you don't keep that history in mind. The only reason a former president Is facing indictment is that the Republican party chose a criminal to lead the party. Spiro Agnew was indicted because he was a criminal, not because he was a Republican. Same with Trump.

I didn't think that Claudia Tenney bit could get worse. I also think Trump Derangement Syndrome is misdiagnosed because it's aimed at the wrong people.https://t.co/xk1Jdc79oL pic.twitter.com/IASnonpc1u

A guy who covered up for sexual abuse and a guy accused of partner abuse are wasting federal funds demanding that a guy be able to cover up fucking a sex worker then engage in shoddy financing to cover THAT up. https://t.co/ZyZ2FLwWax

Closing argument. Will Comer and Jordan EVER do anything with their chairmanships that isn't the government equivalent of sniffing at panty drawers?

Never trust a Florida governor who eats pudding with his fingers where he can be seen doing it.
