Shut Up And Dance

 One notes Kevin McCarthy hasn’t given up the “Speaker McCarthy” Twitter handle:

Now is the time for bold action. Here's how America must meet the moment: 

1. Rescue all American hostages 

2. Provide full support for our ally Israel 

3. Confront Iran and the new Axis of Evil 

4. Focus on securing our own open border 

5. Condemn antisemitism in the United States

You gonna start with condemning Trump and his buddies, or should I? And then we all sit in a circle and sing “Kim-Bah-Yah” while our missiles help Israel pound the shit out of the brown people in the Middle East?

And when does Congress take responsibility for the border? When pigs fly? When the House gets a Speaker? Whichever comes first?

But I forgot; the White House called a “lid” today so Biden could take a nap.

Oh, wait, that’s not what happened:

While Republicans were are screaming on Twitter that Biden called a lid on public events at noon, it was because he was busy hammering out a multinational aid agreement with our allies, among other things. While Republicans were doing important things like posting click bait.

And the leader of the GOP gave a speech where he said the attack by Hamas in Israel never would have happened if he were still President (because he’s that important), and then he danced his way off the stage because there’s nothing wrong with his behavior whatsoever.

I forgot this happened, too:

Seriously.
