If you don't yet own an AR-15 you really need to think that through right about now.

Really?

According to police, Davis confronted Gomez for "being disorderly in the parking lot" of the Fort Worth-area restaurant and the two got into a fight. The boy then shot Davis at least six times with an AR-style rifle while sitting in the back seat of Gomez's vehicle. 

Police say Gomez was arrested after he later returned to the scene. 

The boy is due to be sentenced this week.

"The boy” is 12 years old.

And a follow-up: what if someone else on the scene also had an AR-15, and shot the boy? Who, then, would be the “good guy with a gun,” and who the bad guy?
