I’m not sure y’all need a summary— many of you watched the debacle unfold, live. 

1) Gym Jordan went down before we were halfway through the alphabet. 

2) McCarthy blew a gasket on a “faux news” reporter & still thinks democrats are to blame 🤦🏾‍♀️. (Never mind the 20 Rs that voted against Jordan.) 

3) R’s booed every time a D referred to Jordan as an insurrectionist… not because he isn’t one but b/c he was called out. 

4) We aren’t voting anymore today & will do this all over again tomorrow at 11 am EST.

I’m getting more and more comfortable with the expectations Dems will get behind giving the Speaker Pro Trm authority to act as Speaker temporarily.

Rome used to do that in times of crisis, giving a diktator full power to defend Rome, temporarily. The power reverted when the crisis passed.

The nation certainly doesn’t need more of this clown show. 🤡
