This Is A Problem For Biden

New York Times Pitchbot:

Democrats did well in today’s elections, but if the narrative is that they did badly, that could be a problem for Biden.

Tom Nichols:

I am not going to name the network so I don’t start a pile on, but I am rewinding and looking through some of the coverage of the election results tonight and I am amazed how much of it is “Democrats are over performing Biden and that’s why he’s in trouble”

I think he means like this:

Tonight makes Biden’s problems look worse. If Dems had done poorly, the political challenges would be seen as broadly based, multi-factorial. But, in fact, those problems are, essentially, specific to Biden. Dems don’t have a party problem. They have a Biden problem.

The narrative must be served! Blessed be the name of the narrative!
