Donald Jr. Helps Daddy In NY Court

She later added that Trump Jr. addressed renovations made at the Mar-a-Lago resort, saying his father spent $15-16 million, to “be able to host some of the finest weddings in the world” in a new ballroom, to which attorney Rubin added, "This matters because building a new ballroom should have been a violation of Trump’s agreement with the National Trust for Historic Preservation."
These idiots really have no idea what they’re doing. (No, I don’t think that tiny detail will bring the National Trust down on his ass, but it  plays to the question of disgorgement, and where it can come from.)

Tell me again why the lawyers put these clowns back on the stand? Reading through Rubin’s tweets about the testimony, I honestly wonder what they think they are doing. It’s rare to see lawyers so thoroughly turn over the conduct of a case to the clients. The results are absolutely predictable.
Amer objects that it is inappropriate to put this document on the screen to function as a script. Jr. enters the fray: “I don’t need a script to talk about the Trump Organization.” Engoron rules: “Let him talk about how great the Trump Organization is.”
The implication? This isn’t changing Engoron’s mind, so why not? So Trump, Jr. is now boasting about Trump Tower, which was then the tallest residential building in Manhattan but also was built in a way to give every apartment a corner view.
Jr. is putting on a slideshow (literally) and the Judge is removing grounds for appeal by watching it. And that’s all they’re getting.

Idiots.
